At a multi-campus institution with centralized services it can be difficult to reach the entirety of a college region and all of its campuses, and employers. Through this project regional coordinators were hired to facilitate the expansion of services to students, community and employers, increasing awareness of Co-op and WIL.

Access to WIL for Students and Employers in Rural Regions
Okanagan College has centralized co-op services based at the largest campus in Kelowna. While the department serves the entire Okanagan College region there were not consistent staff available in each region. This project saw how having dedicated staff at each campus and connecting with rurally based students, employers and college staff influenced increased visibility, interactions and opportunities for WIL to occur.
