Selkirk College’s nationally accredited co-op education program is comprised of one to four paid 16-week work terms relating to the students’ field of study. Co-op education fosters partnerships between students, employers, community and institution to bring classroom learning into the workplace. By connecting students with employers, co-op education makes it possible to promote the growth and success of future graduates while bringing new and dynamic ideas to businesses.
Each co-op work term is an optional component.

· Digital Fabrication & Design Diploma
The two-year Digital Arts diploma program is an intensive hands-on experience that provides students with the knowledge and training needed to work in graphic design, illustration, animation, visual and special effects, web design and interactive application development. The program addresses rapid technological changes in the new media industry and encourages creative solutions in the production of original materials for interactive education and training, advertising and marketing, and entertainment industries.
The two-year Digital Fabrication & Design diploma program provides students with practical, interdisciplinary skills to apply cutting-edge manufacturing and design techniques in an increasingly wide range of industries. These include civil and mechanical engineering, mass timber production, advanced manufacturing, architectural design, special effects artistry, product and industrial design, engineering and much more. Graduating students have the ability to adapt and apply technology to solve complex problems.
