The Legal Studies Diploma Program covers a wide range of law and the legal system, including the administration of justice, business law, criminal law, criminal procedure and evidence, public law (including immigration and human rights law), constitutional law, and private law (torts, contracts, property). The program offers exposure to legal research skills, legal remedies, and the basic principles of legal reasoning. In keeping with the liberal arts basis of the program, students must take elective courses that are not related to law.

Co-operative education alternates semesters of classroom studies with paid, part-time work, giving you hands-on experience that will make you job ready when you graduate. Work terms are usually eight months over the summer and fall semesters due to other program requirements.
