This degree program provides studies of financial accounting, managerial accounting, advanced cost accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting theory, international business, business ethics, advanced entrepreneurial studies and business strategy. Students will master fundamental marketing and communications skills to qualify for management-level positions. An optional co-operative education program is also available for students to gain paid, program-related work experience.

Upon completion, students are often employed as a public accountant, management accountant, financial manager, corporate accountant, controller, internal/external auditor, business consultant, financial analyst, financial planner, asset manager and business owner. Employment destinations include private practice, business, crown corporations and government agencies.
