Andrea Sator and Nancy Johnston to led a May 30th Coaching for WIL Practitioners Workshop.

The purpose of this session was to share information about a new professional development opportunity, called “The ACE-WIL Practitioner’s Professional Development: Supporting the WIL Student Journey.”

This professional development opportunity can be explored in a self-directed manner or facilitated by a guide, undertaken individually or with a group of colleagues – the latter always providing more learning opportunities through the added discussion and diversity. The overarching goal is to help you, the WIL Practitioner, delve a little more deeply into WIL as an educational model and better understand yourself as a WIL educator.

In this session we unpacked the “course” so you can learn more about the frameworks, the learning model, the various uses, goals and more! The session included dialogue about some common scenarios that WIL practitioners experience and through these we will help you see the possibilities this course affords for supporting informed shifts in practice. We look forward to having you join us!
