Social workers have a vital role in our society. They help individuals, couples, families, groups, communities and organizations develop the skills and resources they need to effectively function in our society.
The Social Work Pre-Major consists of courses primarily focused on social sciences and humanities. Completion of the two year Associate Degree prepares students for this highly compassionate field.
A co-operative education option is also available for students to gain paid, program-related work experience May through August.
