The Professional Photography combines the aesthetic and business aspects of photography with a solid technical background. The majority of the photographic assignments are based on ‘commercial’ as opposed to ‘fine art’ considerations.
Students looking for WIL opportunities have a solid foundation in studio and on location photography. These students have embarked on a specialization in one or two specific areas of study and our best efforts will be made to place students within that specialty.
The department actively encourages potential placements where students will be working with a mentor to enhance their skillset.
