Students in the Health Care Assistant program learn in the classroom, labs and in the work place through Practicum Placements. They have the knowledge, skills and abilities to care for persons with disabilities who live in long-term care facilities or in private homes.

The Heath Care Assistant Program has varying lengths and start dates and are offered across multiple campuses where possible. Many students are available for work once they have received their registration number through the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker registry.
