Computing Science’s Co-operative Education Program combines relevant job experience with classroom studies. Students complete up to five work term semesters, depending on their academic program and co-op students alternate studies and work semesters before returning for at least one final semester of academic courses.

Our Co-op program is an optional component of the School of Computing Science curriculum in the Faculty of Applied Sciences and provides services on the Burnaby (Computing Science) and Surrey (Software Systems) campuses of SFU. It is accredited by the Canadian Association for Co-operative Education.
