Arts students, from over 29 different disciplines, have the chance to engage in practicum or internship opportunities during their degree programs. These practicum and internship courses connect students with local and virtual placements that align with their skills, experience and education. By engaging in these types of WIL experiences, students can apply their academic knowledge to real-world issues. Employers can connect with the practicum and internship coordinator to develop a specialized opportunity. These opportunities run for 10 weeks during the Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer semesters. Unpaid Arts practicums usually involve 80 hours of field work. Paid internships can range between 80 hours and 315 hours.
