This report and dashboard provide an overview of the outcomes of Phase 1 of the Co-op and Work-Integrated Learning (COWIL) Initiative, a $9 million investment provided by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training between 2019 – 2022. The primary goal of the Initiative was to increase the quantity and quality of opportunities for students to participate in work-integrated learning (WIL), which is a proven way to help students apply what they learn in the classroom, get relevant work experience, and make connections with employers.
