NFC Chip How-to

Registering a Gen 3 JOOLA Paddle Using the NFC Chip

JOOLA Gen 3 Technology

With the unveiling of our cutting-edge Gen 3 paddle series, we introduce the revolutionary Near Field Communication (NFC) chip technology. This groundbreaking feature enables users to electronically link their paddle to JOOLA’s database, facilitating hassle-free registration. By registering your paddle, you unlock a host of benefits. These include an extended 12-month warranty and exclusive access to JOOLA content via our Infinity app.

If you’ve recently purchased a Gen 3 JOOLA paddle and are wondering how to register your paddle using the NFC chip, here is a helpful guide.

Accessing the NFC Chip:

To access the NFC chip using your phone, unlock your phone and hold it near the top of your handle. For iPhone users, try tilting your phone to the side. For Android users, try keeping your phone vertical (shown below). Once connected, a link will pop-up on your device that when clicked, will take you to the registration page.

Completing the registration form:

To finalize the registration process for your new Gen 3 paddle, you will need to complete the registration form. This form requests specific information about your paddle to ensure authentication. This includes details such as your paddle’s serial number and pertinent information about your purchase transaction. While your paddle’s serial number will automatically populate into the designated field, the transaction details may vary depending on where you purchased your paddle. Refer to the guide below for clarity on what information should be entered in the “order number” field.

If you purchased your paddle directly from JOOLA:

If you bought your Gen 3 paddle directly from the JOOLA website, completing the registration form should be a breeze. The form will prompt you to provide your order number, which can be found on the receipt or order confirmation you received at the time of purchase.

If you purchased your paddle from a retailer or facility:

If you purchased your Gen 3 paddle from a retailer, you might not have an "order number" readily available. In such cases, refer to the receipt accompanying your transaction. Fill in the "order number" field using the transaction number specified on the receipt. Additionally, indicate the retailer from which you purchased your paddle. For instance, if you bought your paddle from Pickleball Central and your receipt number was #12345, you would enter "#12345, Pickleball Central" in the appropriate field. As an extra security measure, you have the option to upload a digital copy of your receipt, although this step is optional, it is highly recommended for added convenience and assurance.

If you purchased your paddle from a Champion Rep:

If you acquired your Gen 3 paddle from a Champion rep (court dealer), the registration process mirrors the instructions provided above. In the order number field, please provide a transaction number given to you by your Champion Rep. In the absence of a receipt or transaction number, simply input the name of the rep from whom you made your purchase. This ensures smooth registration of your paddle, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of our Gen 3 technology.

same problem as everyone else here. NFC chip doesn’t work with my iPhone 14. How else can I find the serial number so at least I can register manually? There’s no sign of any serial numbers on the paddle itself. What else could it be?

My NFC tag on my new Magnus 3s is not working. I tried tapping my iPhone 15 in multiple locations along the handle, and it does nothing. Help please?
