Major League Pickleball DC:

Major League Pickleball traveled to the nation's capital for its second event of the year -- MLP DC. For some teams this was the first event of competition, while others had already competed. For a full list of scores and standings, visit the MLP website. 

Premier League:

In the Premier League, Friday's matches saw the Texas Ranchers triumph over the Utah Black Diamonds with a score of 3-1, while the NY Hustlers edged out the Carolina Pickleball Club 3-2. The DC Pickleball Team also defeated the Utah Black Diamonds 3-1, and the Dallas Flash overcame the Carolina Pickleball Club 3-1. The Texas Ranchers continued their winning streak by narrowly defeating the DC Pickleball Team 3-2, and the NY Hustlers beat the Dallas Flash 3-1.

On Saturday, the NY Hustlers maintained their dominance, defeating the St. Louis Shock 3-1 and narrowly beating the DC Pickleball Team 3-2. The Carolina Pickleball Team secured a victory against the Texas Ranchers 3-2.

Sunday's matches were action-packed, with the NY Hustlers defeating the Utah Black Diamonds 3-1 and the Texas Ranchers 3-2. The St. Louis Shock managed to beat the DC Pickleball Team 3-1 and the Carolina Pickleball Club 3-2. The Dallas Flash had a strong showing, defeating both the Utah Black Diamonds 4-0 and the Texas Ranchers 4-0. The DC Pickleball Team ended the day with a close victory over the Carolina Pickleball Club 3-2.

Challenger League:

In the Challenger League, Thursday's matches kicked off with the Atlanta Bouncers defeating the Brooklyn Aces 3-1 and the Florida Smash overcoming the California Black Bears 3-1. The Las Vegas Night Owls had a close win against the Brooklyn Aces 3-2, while the Frisco Pandas narrowly beat the California Black Bears 3-2. The Las Vegas Night Owls also defeated the Florida Smash 3-2.

Friday saw the Atlanta Bouncers continue their winning streak by defeating the Florida Smash 3-1. The Las Vegas Night Owls won against the California Black Bears 3-1 and later against the Atlanta Bouncers 3-2. The Miami Pickleball Club also secured a close victory over the Florida Smash 3-2.

On Saturday, the Las Vegas Night Owls beat the Chicago Slice 3-2, and the Atlanta Bouncers overcame the California Black Bears 3-1. The Brooklyn Aces defeated the Miami Pickleball Club 3-1, and the Frisco Pandas edged out the Chicago Slice 3-2. The Brooklyn Aces also managed to beat the California Black Bears 3-1.

Sunday's matches concluded the tournament with the Miami Pickleball Club defeating the California Black Bears 3-1, and the Brooklyn Aces securing a win against the Frisco Pandas 3-2. The California Black Bears ended their tournament with a decisive 4-0 victory over the Chicago Slice.

Weekend Standouts:

In the Premier League, Ben Johns stood out as one of the strongest players, finishing at the 5th spot. Ben played a total of ten matches, and ended with an 8-2 record. Anna Bright also finished on a high note, going 4-2 on the weekend. 

In the Challenger League, Ewa Radzikowska maintained her strong MLP performance by finishing in the 5th spot. Ewa played a total of six matches and ended with a 4-2 record. Chao Yi Wang made her MLP debut and helped her team to an undefeated record. Wang finished with a record of 6-4, but contributed strongly in Dreambreakers.
